About Colleen Casner

Colleen Casner Colleen was born and educated in upstate NY and relocated to CT in the late 1970's. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and works full time in public education. She is a self taught artist that
captivated the art community with her historical floor cloths in 2006. The floor cloths which she characterized as 'art for your floor', began to evolve as a practical, interior design statement. Colleen created custom orders for French country, nautical, children's nurseries, beach homes, and even pet mats. Her designs are found in homes around the United States. In 2013 she began to experiment with watercolor and in 2018 with acrylic, which she now favors as her medium of choice.
